The original house was in a state of disrepair and required a complete refurbishment. A two-storey rear extension and part single storey rear extension helped to aid this transformation from a three bedroom house, with one reception room, into a large four bedroom dwelling  with a large open plan 'flexible' living area and separate reception room overlooking the beautiful green on a lower sloped level.

Due to the major slope of the land, we had to design the front entrance level and rear garden to maximise the best use of these spaces. It soon became apparent that the best way to deal with this was to excavate the gardens to create a tiered level with grand granite slabs. The concrete walls were finished in white self-coloured silicone render.
